OCCASIONAL TEACHING

I'm finished.
... Now what?!
Student Extension Activity

I found this amazing idea for an extension activity to use when supplying in the classroom. I found it on TPT by Shelley Gray, she offers all the ideas and leaves it to you to put in the work to make a unique and creative "I'm Finished, Now What" activity for the kids.

After many, MANY hours of copying, printing, labelling, laminating and putting a little creative "Miss Scott" spin to it all, this is what I put together...

The categories to choose from...

   Read It
         Make It

Solve It

                          Journal It
                                  Write It
                                          Draw It

                                                  Do It

How it works...

When students have completed their class work efficiently, they get rewarded by going to the "Now What" table to choose a category from the 7 folders laid out.

It is something that extends their knowledge, eases stress because it is not graded or marked, and allows for them to use their creative minds to create something they can be proud of.
